Sooooo, how many of us are going to be holding flashlights with our noses pressed to the incubators all night long on Christmas eve?

Melissa rose, my count is 16. I'm not going to count the ones under the broody. She would be really angry at me if I bugged her as much as I do the incubator!

So when do we submit our guess on the hatch?

Well down to 18 out of 30.. a couple of the 18 are iffy.. 10 clear and 2 quitters.. I am keeping them in for a few more days just to make sure my eyes are not tricking me...

I am still excited

to see all the veining.. air sacs look good so far..

I have a broody on 5 eggs that should hatch on Christmas. I probly would have given her more, but I had to save eggs to send out for the NYD egg swap. It is her first time and she is 8-9 months old.

I have 55 silkies eggs in the incubator, for christmas!!, his is our 2nd hatch . I cant wai to see what colors we get!

i know its early to be guessing since there are still question marks but i love contests.
my guess is <<<<364>>>> chicks will hatch out of our total set.
