Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I have two chicks out and a zipper, one other egg I'm still waiting for. Sadly I lost a pip last night as the 'bator had been turned off.

I'm so glad to have some sweet chicks and it looks like the two out so far are girls so that's great!

Actually it's the markings on their heads. Girls have a distinct V and boys don't or it's fuzzy. I'll see if I can find pics...

Silver Grey Dorking chicks, pullet on the left, cockerel on the right.

They are not all this easy, boys vary a bit. This is one of the things I love about my chosen breed, I know what I have at hatch, and I can separate the sexes during grow out.
