I am totally addicted to this place! Lots of good info here for sure! 8 new chicks in the house this morning, I need to go see what is hatching in the cabinet. A wonderful, quiet Christmas here in Tennessee. Looks like the rain will miss us, yay!

My chick that has been pipped since early yesterday must have gotten an energy boost..just when I thought I was going to have to intercede.. I just looked and he (or she) is zipping away.. hopefully to join "Kringle" and "Noel" soon

UPDATE: "Miracle" is out of the egg.. and I just notice two more pips.. one on my very FIRST Easter Egger of my own (raised up from a swap egg!!).. I can't wait... Mama is in the mixed flock.. so who knows who the daddy is.. but no matter.. I am super excited to see what hatches...

As for recipes, I vote for Chicken Asiago Pasta with Leeks and Tomatoes. Four of my favorite things, tomatos, cheese, chicken and pasta!

It is a really tough decision, all the recipes look absolutely delicious

My EASTER EGGER has hatched.. named him/her "Grinch".

even DH had to laugh at that..

two more pips.. brings my total for the two days to 10 hatched.. go chickies go!!!!
