Chicks! (from SLW roo) 2 weeks old

These hatched 2/25/11. Eggs came from a friend, so I don't know what hen they came from, I know she has a SLW roo, a SLW hen, Buff Orp hens, and some others.
One of these chicks hatched from a dark egg. Don't have pics of the parents. All appear to have single combs.

This is the one that hatched from the dark egg

Pure SLW chicks will be black and yellowish white. No brown

wyandottes lay a light brown egg, not a dark egg. could mom be marans or welsummer, those lay dark brown eggs.
