Chicks got too hot.

I left the light on my chicks outside today and when I came back home I remembered that I left the light on, on accident. So I rushed outside and two were passed out barely breathing and the other eight were in a corner sweating. I burried the two that eventually died and I bought the other eight inside to get cool. I have learned my lesson, but the other eight are okay I think. Is there anything I need to do to the other eight that seem okay.I have given them food and cold water. Thanks.

don't you just hate it when you make such mistakes? sounds like they'll be ok. i lost 10 of my birds yesterday because i left a gate open. it made me sick.

I'd give them some sugar water to help perk them back up. So sorry.
