chicks in shipping-- tell me not to panic

Pics
The hatchery is Hand Me Down Farms in NM.

The Corid is a powder and it advises 1.5 tsp per gallon of water. That is not single dosing of course.

Who did you order these from?

I remembered seeing them post where they came from so I went and found it.

I will do a full review of Hand Me Down Farms once I know the final outcome of this saga. Without a doubt, they will get 0 stars. It is really a matter of waiting to see if (1) my credit card company will reimburse me, and (2) will any chicks survive? The vet says it is unlikely they will make it.

So, by way of update -- the chicks are definitely starting to perk up since given antibiotic by the vet. They are starting to preen and act more like chickens. They are also sprouting hairs on their chins, the beginning of beards. I guess they were faverolles after all -- they just didn't have enough nutrition to grown their feathers in.

As you can see in the pictures, they still are tending towards a hunched stance, but some are occasionally standing upright. They are unfortunately still sneezing.

That's great news!

I wouldn't let whether your CC company gives you your money back or not influence your review of the hatchery though.
