I am new to raising chickens and I had our chicks’ brooder in the utility room of our house. I read somewhere that you shouldn’t have your chicks in the house because breathing in the dust from their brooder can be dangerous. They are now outside and I actually moved their brooder outside for the last couple weeks before they were old enough to move to their coop/run. But I have anxiety and now I’m nervous that I had them in the house for like 4 weeks :’) it should be fine, right?? We cleaned it pretty much daily and when we did, we took it outside to clean. I don’t really recall ever having to clean too much dust out of the utility room. Help calm my anxiety please!!!
