Hey all,

So I have 9 assorted in an indoor brooder. 4 of the 9 are about ready to be moved outside. If I do this, and then re-introduce the others as they get older, will there be much of a problem? All are supposed to be female, the oldest are red-sex link and welsummer, with Americauna/EE-? a week younger and 2 minorcas and a brahma a week behind those.

Thanks

Any change of location and/or "personnel" causes re-ordering of the pecking order.

For that reason, I tend to keep the older chicks in the brooder longer so I can move them all out at the same time.

But that's just me..... your mileage may vary.
