Chicks of Different Ages

Yes, you can. I've had success keeping chicks several weeks apart together before. Just watch them carefully to make sure that the younger ones don't get picked on.

Can I have chicks about a week apart in age in the same brooder?

Just yesterday I moved 3 groups of chicks to the big brooder in the barn. They ranged in age from 10 days to 17 days. They have blended together perfectly. By moving them all at the same time there were no 'newcomers. It was new to all and so there was no possessiveness over who's brooder it was!
