****UPDATE**1-19-09****

They hatching day is getting closer! today us day 17th! tomorrow TUESDAY im getting the humidty to 60%-70% if I can also can the temperature be at 101.5 at the hatching day or do I have to lower it to at least 99.9 ???? Please respond as this is my second hatch, I didn't had luck the first one! Dipsy Doodle Doo 8 out of the 9 are still doing good hope all 8 hatch! I think thats a good % of fertility for shipped eggs don't you think?

30 out of 38 HATCHED! still waiting for MORE!. So far I have 6 Ameraucanas (aurora babies) 3 Delaware, 3 Brown Leghorn, 5 white leghorn, 3 Black sex-link, 5 Buff orpington, 5 Black australorp, And I think thats it. I will check later because im at school so when I get home I'll get this updated

Hi Juan and Luvchikies! Awesome job hatching!
I hope the rest of the Frizzle chicks pop out for you. I was concerned about them since they got 'rerouted' to lordonlyknowswhere and took so long to get there.
Any new developments this morning?

OK now we have 3 more that hatched. We have 3 chicks now, One died

he was bleeding from his rear. So we have 3 frizzles out. Just 4 more eggs and everyone is out. Im still hearing peeps from the other frizzles hope they hatch soon.

2 are black, and 1 is white

I helped one out! he had a pip since yesterday at 8pm and it didn't hatch or piped but I heard him peeping. So I just took the egg out and used the useful tips that nifty has on a thread on how and when to intervene to help them hatch. He started to bleed from its rear too but I wrapped him in a wam wet paper towel and now he/she is doing GREAT!
