chicks on one leg

I did mention this on another thread, so please forgive me, but I thought if I put it up as a new post, others might be able to help. Here's the deal. I have two week old chicks that are now only using one leg. They get up and hop a bit, stretch the leg down and use it eventually, but then, plop down on their belly. I've never seen anything like it.

Any one have an idea?

I had one meat chick do that to and eventually he died. What do I do to help these hen chicks? Any ideas?
