Chicks pecking feathers out?

This may be a stupid question--but are you sure they're not just growing in their back feathers slowly? Sometimes, especially with cockerels, it looks that way as fluff becomes inadequate and feathers haven't begun proper growth.

I’ll try to get a good picture of them. The one that has the worst is the smallest of them all.
 
They do get shabby looking..Is the Brooder getting too crowded?..Do they have enough entertainment in the Brooder?

I do think they’re getting a bit crowded in the brooder. I have 4 Wyandottes that are at least 12 weeks old and want to incorporate them into our flock so I can use their brooder. I’m just not sure how to go about that. Our Roo met one of them and was a bit aggressive towards her.

Look no touch pen for a week and then introduce as they free range..
