All of the eggs that have started to pip have white membranes and the gauge on my incubator says the humidity is at 80%. I put a few wet paper towels in there but the membrane is still white. Out of the 7 eggs that pipped I can hear peeping coming from 6. I think my Easter egger chick died because it's not peeping and when I candled it it wasn't moving. They started pipping this morning not sure what time.

The membrane that you're seeing is supposed to be white. They have two membranes, inner and outer, and the outer one that you can see when they first pip is white. Careful with the humidity, too much can drown them! 50-60% is usually where you want to be.
