chicks playtime outside??????

Well mine have been outside since birth. ONly beacuse That is where they were born. and of course i had no clue there were even eggs remotly near my house.. I was positive chick chick was just a visitor and came for the free food lol.

but once we discoverd the baby's. I had the porch she was sleeping and Brooding under.. almost all fenced in.. and totaly compleate before they were a week old.. beacuse we figured that we'd just keep them as is for now.. and hubby suggested we could keep them all. I told him.. that I'd rather keep just a few. plus mom.. so we can mabey hatch our own. if we kept all the chicks.. then I'd not be able to do it..

so I'm most likely going to try to Slip chicks under my broody when they hatch n see what happens.. Hoping by the tiem I'm ready to hatch.. she will be brooding. or even one of her chicks will be egg laying and willing to brood.
