Have not posted in this for awhile, whoops! Will attach a few pics, but they have been sitting in my gallery for awhile so not super new. Need to get some updated pics of everybody.

Mama Fuzz's last hatch are now almost 2 months old and still growing like weeds.

The 13 easter eggers we got in late winter are now starting to lay, time is absolutely FLYING by! Loving the colors.

We had another hatch about 1 1/2 weeks ago, which produced 11 in total. We have two mamas with these babies, as 1 week until hatch a second mama went broody on the same clutch. They are co-parenting and so far so good!

We are down to just 1 rooster from our 2022 October hatch (lost Mayweather to an eye injury and Canelo got culled due to dirtbag behavior). I am confident he is 1/2 french wheaten maran and 1/2 australorp. He is SO COOL! His demeaner so far is good, hoping he stays a good boy. Does good with the girls and has no interest in people.

We counted 62 birds in total (with the latest hatch) so we officially have gone crazy. So much for "I just want 10 hens so we have fresh eggs to eat."

A few photos. Rehomed 13 comets today to thin out the flock for winter. Plan on hatching in Spring, no doubt we will have at least 2 broodies who are just dying to get it done. Brats!
