Chics want back in brooder

If they've been in there more than a month they're good to go. That's when I put mine out.
The bantams have no reason to stay any longer in there. They're done growing if they are several months old.

You said they've been in the brooder for several months? All 7? If they're all months old they can all move out, no reason to only move out half of them no matter the size.

Yes they are with older chickens now and the bantams are still too small.

Set up of coop and run matter way more than size of chick.
Post some pics of your setup and maybe we can provide some solutions.

Yes they are with older chickens now and the bantams are still too small.

If they’re “several months” old, they’re not going to get any bigger. How long do you plan to keep them separated? If you’re concerned about their size, maybe a separate coop for them would be something to consider.

Small is actually an advantage, my chicks get full run and coop access at about 2 weeks. Because they're so small I can use their small size to help provide hiding spots that only they can get into.
