Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Zaine sat down slowly across from her. "I know you probably don't want to see me right now, but please, hear me out," he near pleaded. Leaning over, he placed his elbows on his knees and dipped his head. "Truthfully, I had no idea why you were upset and mad at me. Call me ignorant or mean, but I swear I didn't mean to upset you. That's the last thing I'd want to do. The thing is, Donella, I like you." He glanced up at her for just a moment before returning his gaze to the floor. "But I thought you were indifferent, so that's why I was avoiding you." He swallowed nervously as he continued staring at the floor, awaiting her reply.
Donella closed her eyes tight at his words then shook her head "When we first met, we both admitted to being shy and quiet people. That's why we got stuck together while the others talked of whatever prank they were playing." She chanced a glance up to him then hid again "You say you 'like' me, but you do not even remember what is basically the first thing we learned about one another?"

"You're a kodkod?" Zaine offered hopefully. Regrettably, he wasn't, and never had been, good with facts. A thought came to him and he then straightened, feeling more confident now. "Your behavior says you 'like' me, so I might ask you the same question."

Eliana was surprised by the soothing noises coming out of Alastor, that she had not expected. But it oddly enough was working, she relaxed a little bit as he loosened the restraints. She sighed when he had done so and turned her wrists over to alleviate the pressure that had been on them before. Instinct made her claws slide out and she growled, but seeing the trust on his face, he didn't want to hurt her. She slowly closed her eyes and took a deep shaky breath as she retracted her claws until they were no more. She opened her eyes and gave him a nod in silent thank you.

Layla smiled back him, happy he shared such a spot with her. At his comment she got an idea in her head but knew it would probably be a terrible joke, she had to do it. "Oh come on I have great balance I am not going to fall off the cliff." She said with a snort and shrug then made a motion like she was going to fall as she turned around. Curious what he would do.

"You don't need to be anything more then you are, normal is over rated. Besides you don't need to conform to some weird standard to make me happy, I wanted to date the real you, whether that you is fly by night or deep and meaningful." He said with a quiet chuckle and a warm smile as he brushed his fingers across her cheek. He smiled at her last comment, yeah that kiss had been special, she had made it so. "You know I can do more then kiss, I am a great hugger and cuddler for instance. I am great at keeping things warm on cold days. I also happen to exceptional at foot and shoulder massage and I am a decent cook." He said in a joking tone but all of it was true.
Alastor looked to her claws nervously, but was relieved when she retracted them once again. He stepped away to go to the small refrigerator to get a small bottle of juice for her and a straw before coming back. "I took some blood while you were out, so this will help with any dizziness you may experience. " He replied factually.

Leverett shifted to his caracal and sprinted over to Layla. Once there, he shifted back and took her hand to move her away from the ledge. "Please! Don't ever be so reckless again. That wind blows, but it also sucks when the waves draw back. If you lean to far over, you'll lose your balance when it does. " He explained urgently.

Willow listened and her smile widened by the second. "Oh Adrian, they broke the mold when they made you." She said as he pounced on him and kissed him like the sinner would a saint. Thoughtfully and naughty. She was purring with her blossoming affections for this extraordinary male and other feelings she just couldn't put words to.

Amaryllis tossed her head to watch Vasper as he laid her on the gurney, afraid that he might leave her. "Am I dying?" She asked Ryker quietly between gasps as he came to examine her. Her blue eyes focused on him, wanting to know the truth.

Laurel blushed faintly at his words. "I never thought of myself in that way, but thank you." She commented as she took her food to a cleared table.

Cyra watched Indigo with an expression of disinterest. "You're not the only person in this room with claws and fangs." She challenged casually.
"No, you're not dieing. You're experiencing cellular degeneration due to dehydration. Translation, your water dependent. I'd hoped you were an exception to Aralyn's plight. Apparently I haven't been able to do test determine such. The rain gave you your healing abilities. We have to get you in water immediately. Vasper, go start that shower." Ryker ordered as he scooped Amaryllis up this time.

Vasper rushed to the back of the room and cranked the knob on to full blast, then look to Amaryllis worriedly.

Razeth sat down beside Laurel and looked to her. " We rarely see ourselves as our friends do. We are to jaded by our own judgments of what our enemies have told us we are. I heard that somewhere, but I don't remember where." He replied thoughtfully.

Indigo swiped Cyra's legs out from under her with a flash of movement. He used closed claws, just the pads of his foot. He wanted to make a point, not make her lame. He waited until she landed, before he moved over her and laid down atop her, distributing his weight carefully not to crush her. Indigo tipped his head as he opened his mouth wide to frame her entire face, he only stopped closing it when his teeth touched her cheeks and temples.

Alexis frowned as she considered his reply. She felt bad for him; not in the pitying kind of way, which he'd probably hate, but sad that he had missed out on so much. "Well you're not too shabby for a first timer," she said, chuckling lightly.

Looking back at him, Haley smiled softly as she cocked her head. "We sit. Watch the sunset, talk in something above a whisper," she explained. "Unless you have something important to do elsewhere."
