Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Gideon was passing by when Amaryllis caught his eye. He paused in his steps before venturing closer to her. He cleared his throat quietly to let her know of his presence.
Amaryllis tore her attention from the window to see Gideon. "Hi, Gideon." She greeted with a warm smile.

" That is debatable." Ashton stated as she walked over to the couch and sat down. " I do hope you know how to play chess. If not, I pilfered this for no reason. Black or white?" She asked curiously.

Dyrus gave Haley a consoling smile as he squeezed her hand slightly. "Yes, I suppose you're right in that aspect and there is no need to be sorry. Perhaps talking about them is honoring their memory in some way." He said with uncertainty.

Dimitri opened his book with a small frown. But glanced to Alexis with speculative looks.
(She's so mean to him sometimes. )
"I'm a pro," Allen said, not convincingly at all. It had been a while, but he used to be pretty decent against his family members. He looked at the different colors for a moment before deciding. "White, I guess."

"Perhaps," Haley agreed. With her free hand she pushed her nearly empty plate to the side. She cleared her throat, debating about a question she wanted to ask and how to ask it. "How long have you been with Ryker?" She asked hesitantly.

(She's a tester, just seeing how far she can push him without him giving up on her :p )

Alexis retrieved her own book and a pencil from her backpack, then rested her elbows on the desk as she looked around the room curiously.

Donella frowned up at the sky but nodded. "There is no point and I can't handle being around people."
Understandable. Zaine nodded slightly, though he disagreed. There was a point, in his opinion, but she probably wouldn't want to hear it and he didn't care to share it on unlistening ears. "You don't think Ioan or other staff would find you out before long?" He asked gently.

Donella shrugged "What are they going to do, lock me up for skipping their school? I know enough to pass any high school graduate test and take credit hours for collage. Let them get mad if they have to, at least I am not trying to run away."

"It would at least be something to fill your time," Zaine mumbled as he turned to leave. He didn't want to get into another conversation that would leave them both hurt and frustrated, with the bonus of Andorra being present here.
