Haley took a swallow of water before pushing the glass away, finished with that as well. "I have six years on you here, then," she said lightly. "I've been here fourteen total."

Ares caught her looking his way and winked not-so-subtly at her. The food may positively stink here, but the females weren't half bad.

Alexis was taken aback by the wink, but smiled sweetly in return. She glanced Dimitri's way and, seeing the poor pencil, quickly put two and two together.

Zaine headed for the stairs slowly, savoring the last bit of fresh air before he closed the stairwell door. At the bottom, he grasped the door handle and pushed. Then turned. Then shook it and pulled. "Dadgumit," he muttered. He tried again. He swore under his breath before returning to the roof. "Door's locked," he stated matter-of-factly, irritation obvious. "Did it do that yesterday?"

Donella sat up and looked at him then at the door before getting up and going over to it. She had to try it, twisting it as much as she could then rattling it. Well, that was unexpected. "How did it lock?" She asked then started laughing. "Looks like we all get to miss school" She said then looked to Zaine "You are the only one that can get down off the roof now."

Ashton moved her Kight again before rummaging in her goodie bag for the bag of corn nuts. She then dumped it out for Allen to get his pick of the snacks. She did graciously offer him some of the corn nuts though.

"Oh yes. Most definitely. I was ready to leave and head out on my own. And you?" Dyrus asked as he paid the bill when the waitress came back with it. Making sure there was enough for her tip.

Dimitri scowled as he continued to watch the interloper get good and comfortable to gawk and his girl. He decided to take a little action. He slipped a rubber band free of a small bundle of pens and pencils and waited until the teacher was facing the chalkboard before letting it fly to hit Ares in the thigh hard. He continued to glared at him with serious annoyance.

She didn't like the idea of Zaine drawing undue attention to the roof exploits. " What if he's caught? Those doors are surely locked in the courtyard." She asked

Allen slid his rook over directly across from the pawn blocking her left bishop. He leaned forward to poke through the options, instantly deciding against the nasty looking nuts she seemed to covet. He grabbed a pack of crackers for himself and proceeded to open and eat them.

Haley turned her gaze to her napkin, twisting the corner tightly as she answered. "My being here was not originally by choice," she said quietly.

Ares jerked his eyes to Dimitri, then immediately settled and smirked at him. Oh this would be fun. He brushed the band off his leg and flashed a smile at Alexis before returning to his notes.

Dimitri couldn't help the grumbles that escaped his lips at the audacity of the guy. He glanced to Alexis a bit hurt, but just a bit. She was just too kind to tell him off. He lied to himself. He knew she was the queen of sarcasm.
