"I understand. That's the story for most. But Vasper and me, we've thrived under his care." Dyrus admitted as he glanced around. "You ready to bounce yet?" He asked to change the subject. She seemed uncomfortable about the topic of discussion.

Dimitri couldn't help the grumbles that escaped his lips at the audacity of the guy. He glanced to Alexis a bit hurt, but just a bit. She was just too kind to tell him off. He lied to himself. He knew she was the queen of sarcasm.

"It's been a while," Allen offered as an excuse. He moved his knight and resumed his cracker eating.

"That's good," Haley said, with a nod of her head. She pushed out her chair to stand. "Yes," she agreed readily.

Alexis focused on her own paper and doodling all around the border, listening halfheartedly to the lecture. She snuck a glance at Ares, then to Dimitri, as a mischievous smile spread slowly across her face.

"We will wear suits to represent the government, but thankfully we did not need to change our facial appearance as was first thought. Ryker hacked their enternet and sent the school profiles of the officials with our basic information and picture." Asa explained with an easy dispasition, for once.

Elliot nodded. That was enough questioning for him. He turned to look out the window once again.

Lucy watched him, slightly alarmed. He obviously wasn't thinking about the lecture and assignments being given out. "You okay?" She leaned over to whisper.

Victor looked over at her nervously, responding quickly "Yeah I'm fine." He looked to the clock, unsure of when class had started, so he didn't know when it was over. He sighed and looked back at her tiredly.

" I've been in a cage most my life, but I'm not dead yet. So there's at least that." Eirik stated with a small amount or humor.

Claire chuckled softly, before responding "Guess that's true. But I'm sick and tired of being in here." She asked with a smile "Is that just me?"

Rowan returned the soft kiss and smiled at her though he was still worried about the future for them

Areum stood away from him, unsure of what to do now, continue exploring or go back.

Gideon grinned and sat beside Amaryllis in the space she'd made for him. He looked to her curiously, before looking out to observe the landscape from this vantage point. "It seems to be a gorgeous day out today. Lots of sunshine too." He rambled aimlessly. But scolded himself for making too much noise. She probably wanted silence to enjoy the view better. "Sorry" He said as he made a locking motion at his lips.

" No, not just you. I'm jonesing to get out to stretch my legs." Eirik said matter-of-factly.

Sure you are, Lucy thought. She rested her chin on her upturned palm, her gaze darting from him to the teacher. She was so ready for this class to be over with. She was here for the people, not books, anyway.

Dimitri had missed that little display of future torment, because he was too busy staring holes through Ares. At least until the teacher asked if there was a problem. Then he had to face the front for a bit.
