Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(I was encouraged by everyone's posts, and decided to return to BYC sooner than I expected. I don't have chickens any more which means I'm no longer a part of the community, so I will keep strictly to rps. I'm glad to back with you, but I'm must warn you I have a lot of work to do with damage from the hurricane, so I can't say how active I will be. But I will try my best to answer everyone's posts.)
( :hugs Glad to know you're returning, dear :) )

Amaryllis wandered about the halls, enjoying the ability to explore while she waited for Ryker.
Amaryllis came to a window overlooking the mansion's manicured lawns. Before the a coma she was kept strictly indoors. Her spirit wanted to be freed from the building that grew to be her prison, but her poor health kept her from pursuing her dreams. She sat on the ledge of the window, looking through it longing. After all these years she finally went outdoors, but she didn't have time to enjoy the opportunity. Now she was here again, wishing as before to be free.

( :p )
Allen slowed to fall back into step with her. "So, just curious, what's Madison's deal? Besides having a thing for that Dyrus guy. I can't quite tell if she's psycho or desperate or what." He looked to her for her answer.

"No, it's fine," Haley quickly assured him. "I don't mind sharing them, so long as you don't mind hearing them. It feels good to get these thoughts out." She smiled gently, reinforcing her statement. "Now, you answer your own question, if you don't mind," she requested.

Alexis snorted at his antics. "Careful, Russian. I may just send you away at this rate," she teased, giving him a light poke in shoulder.
Ashton smirked and said, "She's a bit of both. She always looking for love in the wrong place. Mainly in individuals who don't want anything to do with her and she has the bad manners of not taking "No" for an answer. At least that's my assessment of her. But as I'm sure you've probably guessed, we don't get along. So I may be a bit biased in my opinion from the time she tried to hurt Gideon."

Dyrus sighed softly and gave her a lopsided grin. "I should have saw that coming." He said with humor as he gave it some serious thought. He scrubbed his chin as he did so. He glanced up as he reveled his secret, "I send my sister anonymous gifts for her birthday. I go to great lengths to make them untraceable."

Dimitri snorted and opened the classroom and whispered to Alexis. "If you did, who would you hide behind when you showed up late?"

Gideon was passing by when Amaryllis caught his eye. He paused in his steps before venturing closer to her. He cleared his throat quietly to let her know of his presence.

Zaine sighed softly, relieved that Andorra hadn't told him off yet, or eaten him. Especially the latter. He sat down on the wall, glancing over to calculate just how far the fall would be if fell, before turning his attention to the girls. Wasn't this just dandy. He had come up here for alone time and fresh air, but apparently he'd only be getting one of those. But he couldn't blame them, and besides, they were here first. "Are you planning on staying up here the whole day?" He asked curiously, to break the silence and hopefully the ice.

"Andorra is only skipping first, I am not going back to classes." Donella said quietly
Andorra flicked her eat at the mention of her name. She almost slipped into a slight snooze.

Dimitri snorted and opened the classroom and whispered to Alexis. "If you did, who would you hide behind when you showed up late?"
"What time?" Allen asked curiously. She probably wouldn't get into specifics, but he may as well ask. Or maybe not. Was she referring to last night at dinner? Geez his memory was horrid sometimes.

Sister. This wasn't a topic they had yet tried. "That's terribly nice of you," Haley said, smiling softly. "Is it just the two of you?" She asked tentatively. Past tense seemed a little inappropriate, but maybe present was more so.

Alexis nodded her head towards Ares across the room. "That," she said, grinning widely at Dimitri. Only joking, of course, but it was so fun teasing him. She gave a light tug to his sleeve and scooted for an empty chair in the corner.

Adrian stopped at the door and listened, while it still smelled like the lion he didn't hear anything inside. He glanced at Willow getting herself ready for battle presumably, he found it amusing but when he saw how serious she was he decided he would always try to stay on her good side. He imagined she didn't make for an easy opponent. "I don't think he is in, thankfully." He said before unlocking the door and opening it. He looked around the room before stepping in, it was clear. He moved for his things and began making sure it was all packed up.

Elijah chuckled at Roan, so a girl was involved. He was so going to have to get the details later, either out of Roan or someone who witnessed it. He moved to his bed and sat down leaning back against the headboard as he glanced to the bathroom. "Well not everyone can be a smooth operator when it comes to the ladies. It happens to the best of us though so I wouldn't worry to much about it. You going to class after or are you hiding out for a bit?" He asked curiously, he wouldn't mind the company if he opted to hide out for a bit.

Harper stepped into the elevator after Irine and pushed the button to take them up to the floor with the gym on it. "I have heard you are quite the climber, it will be interesting to see in person. Do you mind if I take notes if I decide too? I am compiling my own personal thoughts and ideas on some of Rykers works, I find how he incorporated the DNA and various traits the way he did. If it makes you uncomfortable that is ok as well, it makes some people feel weird." She asked, she didn't want to overstep her bounds, she always liked to ask before including people into her notes. She wondered if she would mind, it often told her much about the person depending on their response.
Willow stood just inside the doorway and basically stood watch. She was still ready for anything should mad mane pop in on them. She took in the roommate's side of the room and was surprised by how empty it was. Strange in itself. This guy didn't form attachments to anything.

"Shoot! I'd happily settle for normalcy. To make it worse, I suspect she's a faculty member. She basically made me promise I'd go to class, so no skipping for me. How about you? Do you have a class?" Roan asked as he came out of the bathroom and grabbed a clean shirt to slip on.
~▪~▪~
"No, I don't mind doing you taking notes. I may just help my performance in a objective opinion is always a good thing. It sees things that you normally wouldn't" Irine said kindly. She appreciated that Harper asked her. She didn't have to and that's why it mattered.

Andorra flicked her eat at the mention of her name. She almost slipped into a slight snooze.
"At all?" Zaine asked, unable to hide his surprise. That would be a crying shame. As intelligent as she seemed, sitting on the roof the rest of her days seemed like the ultimate waste. If they were going to be here a long time she might as well attend the classes.

"It's was when they were sparring and she'd almost gutted him with her claws. She said it was an accident, but there was no conviction behind her words. She'd done it to get back at me. Ryker sewed him up carefully, but he still has the scars. " Ashton said in a solemn tone. She shook her head as she added, "He likes to joke about them by saying, " Disemboweled is not disavowed." Sometimes that boy doesn't make any sense."
~▪~▪~
Dyrus shook his head. "No, there was one in between us, but he died several days after his birth. His name was Thomas. We never got to touch him. You could only look at him through the incubator. " He said with some sadness.

Dimitri raised a brow at her cryptic word and found a seat close by her. He looked to Ares curiously as he thought on the "That" she'd mentioned.

"Well it's a good thing he's got you," Allen said with a smile. He turned his back to her and shook his head slowly as he contemplated the story.

Haley reached across the table for his hand. "I'm so sorry," she said gently, giving him a sad smile. "I was supposed to have had a younger sibling, but there were complications early on, so I suppose it just wasn't meant to be," she admitted. That was partly why she was so concerned with keeping Amaryllis safe.

Alexis glanced to him, still smiling just to taunt him. Let him think what he like. It would make for interesting conversation later.
