Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Leah thought for a second, before replying, "I like singing, so I often sing out here. Then I go jogging sometimes, also I go swimming. And then when the court is empty i try to play basketball, but I'm really bad. What do you do?" She looked over to him with her genuine interest, to learn more about her new dragon friend.

William frowned a bit at her answer, it sounded lonely for her, did she really have no one here? "So your always alone? Do you not have anyone here that you can call friend?" He asked gently, he couldn't imagine how lonely it must be. He knew a bit of her history now and while he understood her hesitance to be around a lot of people he never imagined that she would be 100% alone.

Leah nodded, responding “Yeah I’m alone here every day. I get lonely sometimes but I get scared to be around other people.” She looked around, trying not to face him. She said quietly “I don’t mind it.”

William reached out slowly and grabbed her hand hoping she would look at him when he did. "Hey you don't have to be alone anymore if you don't want to. I will be your friend, your stuck with me now whether you want to be or not." He said with a smile before moving on to answer her original question in hopes that it would put her at ease and make her feel more comfortable. "As for fun I would rather show you then tell you. But if you must know I do all sorts of things. I like to adventure and explore, I vary what I do based on my mood and the day. You should spend the day with me, I will show you what I like to do." He said with a grin, wondering if she was up to the challenge.

Leah quickly glanced over at him, looking him straight in the eyes. She choked out “If you would like to, I’ll be your friend.” Leah was overcome with a storm of emotions eating away at her heart. She sobbed “And I’d love to spend the day with you. Thank you thank you thank you.” She hugged him tightly.

(Aww I like Leah. I just want to give her a hug! )

William had not been prepared for her sudden hug or her sobbing out her thank yous from his chest. For a moment he wasn't sure what to do, but he slowly folded his arms around her small frame and hugged her back. "No need to thank me, my day was free anyways. Plus you may not like the activities so don't thank me just yet." He said with a chuckle trying to make light of the situation. He wasn't good with heavy emotions, so when in doubt he lightened up the mood. He hoped she didn't mind that about him. Now he just had to come up with some activities for them to do that day, in truth he had nothing planned. That was ok though he was good at making up things on the fly.

Leah kept hugging him until she was done sobbing, which wasn’t for too much longer. She smiled at his joke, glad the focus was off of her crying, but a bit set back:she realized he didn’t take emotions very well. Oh well, she wasn’t about to go judging the person who had met her, then decided to hang out with her when no one else wanted to. She giggled “I think I’ll like all of them.”
