Vasper looked to Layla and felt the same way. "I've never been real good at making friends. I'm glad I met you, Layla." He said quietly as he looked to the label he'd been peeling off the root beer. " I think the benefits would be two-sided from our arrangement. " He admitted with a sense of hope.

Madison made a face of true disgust. "That you could have taken to your grave. Bears are nasty if they do that." She said with a shudder.
Eirik frowned and admitted, " I have issues with Ukraine. They made me an animal long before Riker ever did." He looked to the door across the way, before returning his gaze to Saskia.

Alastor chuckled nervously and focused upon Eliana's outstretched palm. He took a steadying breath and stepped past the threshold. Her hand his goal at the moment. He took ahold of her offered limb as if it was his mooring to safety. "I know I'm ridiculous, who's afraid to go outside? I've always had this condition. At least with the work I do here, it makes it a lot easy to live with. But it's debilitating none the less." He replied solemnly.
Layla looked up at him in surprise, she never figured he would get anything out of their arrangement. But if she could help him in any way she was pleased. "That makes two of us, never really had friends before Leverett. I had acquaintances, and toys, or I guess everyone else that in my mind was there for my amusement. Friends are a new concept for me, but I would be pleased to call you one as well." She said with a firm nod in his direction. She could hear the hope in his words, and she had admit she was hopeful they could help each other as well.

Saskia grinned up at her friend, "nope had to share it. Once its in my head it doesn't leave until I have corrupted someone else head with it. Hope you don't hold it against me." She said sincerely to Madison before turning back to Eirik.
She looked at Eirik for a moment before answering as she continued to work on the lock. "The name is Dutch, my family immigrated to the states before I was born, they kept the traditional European names. And I am a polar bear, if it matters." She said quietly as she concentrated, although she was unsure what to do with the information provided to her. She was starting to wonder if she was making a bad choice here, it wouldn't be her first, but it didn't mean she wanted to make another.

Eliana felt a little bad for him as she watched him walk slowly towards her like it was a difficult task. When he got to her he grasped her hand like a lifeline, it was strange to see him like this she thought. Downstairs in his lab he was in his element, out here it was totally different. "Well you can't help what your afraid of, but look, you made it. Your outside, in the sun and fresh air. We did it, together. " She said giving him a smile, she then looked up at the sky, taking a deep breath of fresh air into her lungs. "Thank you." She said quietly, knowing this was a big deal to him.
