Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"And then we'll both end up dead," Allen said matter-of-factly. "What a way to end the day."

"What are you, a southern mama now?" Haley teased him. She came to a stop a few feet from the water and dug a hole in the sand with the tip of her boot as she looked around. "And are you expecting a tip, Mister Tour Guide slash Southern mama? Because I'm afraid I haven't got any change on me," she said, grinning to herself.
Ashton smirked as she pretended to think about it seriously and said, " I sense a lifetime movie." She then laughed at her own statement.
~~~
"No, but you just ruined that endearment for life. " Dyrus informed with a shudder as he sat down in the sand to take off his shoes and socks.
Michael studied the blood sample curiously before sitting up a little to glance to the newcomers. He would give the news to Dimitri after they spoke.
Zaine sighed, a little louder than he meant. He really didn't want to have to talk about this if he didn't have to, but geez, his neck between Dimitri's tiger teeth later didn't sound too appealing either.
Alexis glanced up at Dimitri and pawed his knee. She then glanced to Zaine, interested to hear how he was going to explain this. Honestly, hopefully.
"I ran into Alexis after her last class with you and she was just about in tears, man." This is what he would have said without her present so she'd just have to listen. "She gave me the reader's digest version of what happened and I said I'd talk to you. But I assumed you two worked things out now."
Lyra felt bad, she wasn't sure what to say to get him out of this. especially since Dimitri was a bit more intimidating then she was expecting him to be. When he had explained what he had come to explain she stepped forward to try and give him the escape he had asked for earlier. "Thats good, hey we should probably head out, I don't want to miss the light from my window for that sketch." She said to Zaine hoping she didn't somehow make things worse.
Dimitri shrugged and looked to Alexis and said simply, "Technically, there's nothing to work out. It's over between us. When I woke up, she was here. " He looked to Lyra as she spoke and stated when she finished, "You'd best run along now, Zaine. Your girl here, has you on a short leash."
Layla looked up at him in surprise, she never figured he would get anything out of their arrangement. But if she could help him in any way she was pleased. "That makes two of us, never really had friends before Leverett. I had acquaintances, and toys, or I guess everyone else that in my mind was there for my amusement. Friends are a new concept for me, but I would be pleased to call you one as well." She said with a firm nod in his direction. She could hear the hope in his words, and she had admit she was hopeful they could help each other as well.
Saskia grinned up at her friend, "nope had to share it. Once its in my head it doesn't leave until I have corrupted someone else head with it. Hope you don't hold it against me." She said sincerely to Madison before turning back to Eirik.
She looked at Eirik for a moment before answering as she continued to work on the lock. "The name is Dutch, my family immigrated to the states before I was born, they kept the traditional European names. And I am a polar bear, if it matters." She said quietly as she concentrated, although she was unsure what to do with the information provided to her. She was starting to wonder if she was making a bad choice here, it wouldn't be her first, but it didn't mean she wanted to make another.
Eliana felt a little bad for him as she watched him walk slowly towards her like it was a difficult task. When he got to her he grasped her hand like a lifeline, it was strange to see him like this she thought. Downstairs in his lab he was in his element, out here it was totally different. "Well you can't help what your afraid of, but look, you made it. Your outside, in the sun and fresh air. We did it, together. " She said giving him a smile, she then looked up at the sky, taking a deep breath of fresh air into her lungs. "Thank you." She said quietly, knowing this was a big deal to him.
Vasper looked to her with a bit of amusement and asked, "You played with toys in your mind? Did I hear that right?"
~~~
"Well mission accomplished. My happy thoughts of bears sleeping peacefully through the winter has been corrupted buy furry butt plugs. Congratulations! I hope you're proud of yourself. Now you need help, it's taking far longer than it should." Madison stated as she came over to look at what she was doing.
Eirik smiled and said with a cheesy grin, "I think polar bears are cool..... I mean how can I not be there was in the snow."
~~~
Alastor chuckled nervously and looked up at the sky. The sun did feel warm and pleasant aginst his face. She was right, he did do it. They were alone out here so he could do this. She could keep him safe. He told himself to help calm himself down. It was working just a bit. A little was better then nothing. "It is a nice sunny day." He finally voiced as he opened his eyes to look around.
"Naw, I don't feel like looking at books right now. I kinda want to go check on Dimitri. See if he's doing alright. Want to come with me?" Andorra asked curiously.
Donella smiled then shrugged "Alright, I hope he's better now." She said softly before heading for the door.
Ashton smirked as she pretended to think about it seriously and said, " I sense a lifetime movie." She then laughed at her own statement.
Chuckling, Allen shook his head. "Hey where are we, Frog?" He asked, looking around. He hadn't exactly been watching where they were walking.
"Oh good," Haley joked. She slipped her own shoes and socks off and sighed softly as she stepped onto the sand. It was a shame they hadn't come prepared to swim; the water was beautiful.
Zaine looked desperately to Alexis. He wasn't sure what else he could say, especially with the finality with which Dimitri spoke those words. "You really don't care to even try?" He had to ask. He knew if he ever found someone again that clicked that much with himself, he'd never let them go over an argument. He winced slightly as an old friend came to mind. A face he'd pay anything to see just once again. But Dimitri's following comment snapped him out of his reverie and he glared at him. "Yes, light. Let's go," he said to Lyra. He turned sharply to leave, deciding against saying something that could possibly make things worse. Alexis would just have to deal with the man on her own.
