William smiled down at her and held her close for a moment. "I am glad, and I am very proud of you." he said quietly as he kissed her head again, as he ran his fingers gently through her hair pulling it back from her face.

Anuerin waited patiently as Ryker moved around the room. He figured the surgery was over, but didn't ask questions fo confirm his answer incase he rather not know. He felt relief fill him as his father helped him into a sitting position. It was over. His head lowered and he suddenly found it difficult to meet Ryker's gaze. He worked hard all these years to hear those words, but spoken aloud, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He made his father proud.

Ryker had no idea of the turbulent emotions that was just under the surface of Anuerin's neutral position. He just assumed things were known and didn't think to xpress his feelings or sentiments to others.
