Sophia said softly "Zaiden, is that you? Please come in." She wiped her tears off her face and faced the door.

Zaiden came, quietly closing the door behind him when he saw her. He walked and sat beside her, speaking gently. "What's the matter?"

After a few hours of restless sleep Laurel awoke from a terrible nightmare, filled with visions of her past. She trembled from the overwhelming emotions the nightmare had given her, unable to stop softly crying to herself even after she awoke.
