Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"I want my mother." Laurel whimpered softly. "I just want my mother." The vision of the nightmare remained clear to Laurel, the terror of it clinging to her. She didn't understand who held her until she recognized Razeth's voice.

Razeth didn't know what to say to that. "She's watching over you I'm sure. Though she can't stop bad things from happening to you, she's there in you heart and visits in your dreams. " He replied softly. At lest his mother's memory had been there for him. He wasn't sure if Laurel's mother was alive or not.

Orthus managed to smile back, a true one. He said "Same."

Charles said "Well, the truth is the truth. So I couldn't just lie."

Andorra grinned, "Now that's a better look on you. More friendly, less gunslinger. " Shd teased, before turned to look at the diagram the teacher was drawing on the board. She opened her notebook and started copying it down.

Madison took a long drew on the water, down half of it. She then capped it and held it up to her cheek that was swelling. "Oh, now that feels good. You have a mean right hook." She said softly, as she looked over to Charles.

Charles smiled, and replied "Thanks. Always have. Your jabs are up there too. Many people underestimate jabs, you almost had me there."

Orthus did the same.

Zaine smiled to himself. So not everyone was like Dimitri.

(sure :caf )

Cyra listened tentatively as the teacher began to speak, but every once in a while she glanced over to Zaine, smiling to herself.

Kenya gathered her supplies as the students began to exit the school room.

Sophia said "He was abusive. Me hated me, and just was nice to my other siblings! One week, I couldn't eat at all but had to see my siblings eat without asking for food. I can't tell you of the other things he did to me." She teared up.

Zaiden slowly laid his arm over her shoulders. "You can't let your past determine your future. You must leave the memories of your father behind, or you will never be able to live your life the way you were meant to." He spoke wisely.

Sophia sniffled and smiled at him, before saying "Thank you. You're right." She hugged him tightly in thanks. She pulled away quickly, before saying "I'm sorry Zaiden. I shouldn't have done that without asking."

"I don't want to see my mother in my dreams." Laurel admitted quietly. "Every night I have dreams of her, always nightmares of the day she died. The dream always appears as reality, and I am unable to escape until I relive the memory of when I stood by while my father brutally killed my mother." She stopped choking as she held back her tears. "Every night it's always the same dream. I just want it to end." Laurel expressed, wondering why she told him this since she never shared it with anyone before.

Andorra glanced over to Orthus as he worked, before going back to her own drawing. "This looks terrible. " She said quietly.

Madison shrugged and said, "I usually beat whoever they pit me aginst. So it's been a crash course. " She laid down on the mat and looked up at the ceiling in thought.

Razeth couldn't help her there. He had is own nightmares. So he told her what he thought to himself, "One of these nights, those dreams won't come. When you learn what they are trying to teach you, you won't need them anymore. How old were you when she died?" He wouldn't say killed, that was to tragic.
