Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Orthus answered, not nervous, but jokingly "Are you a part of the Russian mafia too"

"No, just helping an awkward feline in an unfamiliar environment. He did warn you before. You choose to press matters. Just take yourself and go. I'll speak with Dimitri. Let's not have a death on our first day. Agreed? " Andorra whispered further, as she took the blade away and looked around the cafeteria. She stepped carefully away and slipped her blade back in its sheath under her jacket.

Charles chuckled again, and replied nonchalantly "And we're at the top."

"Yes, but even the king of the jungle can fall. Being at the top, just puts targets on our heads." Madison said as she glanced towards a camera in far corner. "Everything's a test in this jungle. I just hope we didn't disappoint. " She said with satisfaction.

Charles answered "The king of the jungle never gets kicked off, as long as he has connections. You wouldn't want to overthrow me, would you?" Charles asked as he grinned.

"Sure, just... thinking." He concluded, looking off in the distance at the rising sun.

As soon as Kenya was steady on her feet, Alexis dashed through the door and slid into a chair. "Rotten egg!" She called triumphantly, then quickly turned her attention to her backpack as if everything was causal in the room.

(she went for the other arm ;) )
Haley froze, her arm suspended in the air by Aneurin, and stared him in the eye this time. Neither his tone nor his words bothered her in the least. She was used to it and knew that there was a purpose for them. If she was going to have to be here and endure training, it might as well be done right, and by whatever means possible.

"I'm sorry." Kenya announced, casually entering the room. "You really must forgive my friend. She can be a bit childish at times." Kenya sat at her seat, rolling her eyes as if she had won some grand arguement.
~
Aneurin stared deep into Haley's eyes while she did the same, using her distraction as an opportunity. He swiftly knocked her feet from under her. "You must pay attention at all times. Failing to do so even once will cost your life." He informed, watching as she fell to the ground.

Razeth shrugged and stated, "They should, I suppose. Since Ryker invested a lot of money in us."

"That is what he told me." She stated thoughtfully, remembering Ryker's exact words at that precise time about her past, rather than the price at which he bought her.

Sophia stood up and walked away. She felt as if he wanted to be alone, away from her, and she respected what she thought was his decision, with some sadness.

Alexis scoffed indignantly. "Who ya callin' childish, Egg?" She demanded humorously.

Haley landed with a thud and let out something like a cough as she hit the ground, the air nearly knocked out of her. She felt her cheeks burn with embarrassment and was sure all eyes in the room were on her, which of course they weren't because everyone else was focused on their own fights. In one quick move, she jumped up onto her feet and went for a jab at Aneurin's left side, ducking under his arm as she did so to avoid his hitting her in the face.

Zaine didn't dare look back as he hurried out of the cafeteria with his head bent down. He felt slightly bad for leaving Andorra with the two numbskulls, but she didn't seem worried about the case.

Orthus answered "It didn't say his seat was reserved!"

Dimitri grinned widely as he remained, "I told you it was." He then looked to Orthus's hands as they still held his collar. "Do you mind? I'm really hungry here and my mood is not improving because of this fact." He explained with a calmer tone.

Andorra stepped to Dimitri's side and smiled. "It is obvious we are all killers here. Can we perhaps get along in this new environment? I'd like to be friends with you Orthus, not enemies. I respect your skills, however misplaced they are." She said softly. She sent a curious glance around the cafeteria looking for Zaine. But when she didn't see him. She looked to Orthus again.
