Haley felt likewise. The past twenty-four hours had been exhausting, both mentally and physically, but she was grateful to have had Amaryllis with her. It was like the sister she never had.Amaryllis (smiled??) at the comfort provided by Haley's gesture and gladly returned it. She had a growing affection for Haley similar to that shared between two sisters.
Sophia asked with a mischievous smile, "Want to find out?"
Sophia joked "You buzzkill." She stood up and opened the door, pleased to see Ioan was gone, as indicated by the note on the wall cross from the door that read "I'm gone until 4. Help yourself to any food."Zaiden threw his hands in the air dramatically and rolled his eyes. "Fine."
Haley felt likewise. The past twenty-four hours had been exhausting, both mentally and physically, but she was grateful to have had Amaryllis with her. It was like the sister she never had.
Andorra smiled widely. "Well, we'll just have to fix that. I know quite a few here. There's my roommate Cyra. She's a Dhole. How cool is that?! And Zaine ' an owl, Alexis's a cool cat and of course Dimitri. Or as i like to call him Tigger." She said excitement.
Haley turned the corner, following precisely the path she had decided on earlier. Hearing Amaryllis' question, she stopped in her tracks. The same question had been on her mind since Aneurin had left them, but she hadn't voiced it for fear of worrying Amaryllis. "Aneurin? I doubt they've even found him," she said calmly, but as she said the words she knew they weren't true. He had been found and they would be too, before long, she was sure."Do you think they hurt him?" Amaryllis asked, breaking the silence with a question that had been tormenting her the last two days.
Donella smiled and shrugged her shoulders. "I guess" she said, voice even quieter. She was shy about meeting others, she was used to being alone.
Andorra tipped her head slightly and informed, "Hanging around me will cure you of your shyness. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a bit outgoing. " She winked for emphasis.
(Right... Sure.)
