Dimitri snatched the book somewhat gently. He then hissed, "Fine! Just exploit the tiger. You're no better than that show in Vagas called Siegfried and Roy! Where's you whip, little Alexis? " He then gave her a frown for effect.

Andorra frowned deeply at the back of Zaine's head before chucking a elbow macaroni at it. When it struck it's mark, her eyes went wide and she whipped around to pretend she didn't do it. She busily stirred the non boiling water and hummed softly.

Donella watched the two then quickly went back to watching the meat brown, adding spices to it as she did. Yeah, not in that fight.

Zaine shut his eyes momentarily, took a deep breath. Ignored her. "I didn't see you in any classes today," he commented as he watched Donella season the meat.

"I have no whip, sir. Unless you'd like to count my tongue, cause I've gotten you pretty good so far, if I do say so myself!" She quipped.

Laurel looked to Leverett with pride as she entered the lab.

Alastor glanced over as they entered and commented, "I'd thought you both got lost, I was waiting for so long." He then moved to get the shoulder sling he'd set out for Leverett. He motioned Leverett over to sit on a stool so he could up it on him.

Leverett stepped forward and apologized, "We hadn't ment to keep you waiting. We just found a common interest and were slowed by it. We're here now, I hope that counts for something, Monsieur."

Alastor smiled pleasantly and said, "You're fine. It gave me time to ready a few things for Laurel's tests. No harm, no foul. "
