"better hope this cat doesn't decide to crush the spider." Layla whispered angrily back at him. She retracted her claws and shrugged off his jab at her being attention seeking. She continued her path towards the dining hall. She imagined she was stalking him just waiting to go in for the kill, imagining the blood dripping from her claws. It had been far too long since her last mission she was getting restless and stir crazy and admittedly a bit unstable. She hummed the itsy bitsy spider quietly to herself as she followed him, laughing to herself as she did.

He ordered his food after her and just smiled. He wondered if she got on that he had been joking. He went back to his regular friendliness now that they were in public. He gestured for them to take a empty table by the wall.

Lilith sat down opposite him, and waited for the food to come. She asked "Want to play Would you Rather again?" with a smile on her face.

Charles laughed with her at the itsy bitsy spider song, noting with a smile "You're pretty funny." He smiled and looked back at her, genuinely in a good mood. He wasn't scared of her at all, he was stronger than her and had a venomous bite, he just looked back at her, amused, putting his hands in his jean pockets.

Layla snorted at his amusement, she just shook her head, she bet he would be less amused if he knew what she was thinking about. She didn't know him, then again she knew very few of the people around here, she often paid them little attention. She stopped her humming and just twirled her hair absently as she got lost in her thoughts, her cat eyes vacant as her mind wandered.
