Personality: Dry and sarcastic, Alexis isn't the nicest person you'll come across. She dislikes people in general and firmly thinks every person should fend for himself. On top of that, she's a colorblind control freak.
History: Alexis was born with partial achromatopsia, which wasn't realized by Ryker until a while after her arrival at the lab. He tried his best to fix her vision before and after the genetic change that gave her the ability to shift, but with no success. Further experimentation and testing only made her vision worse. Special contacts were made for her so she could train more easily, but when it became obvious that she wasn't going to be much help to Ryker, her training ceased.
Because of this disability she was pretty much cast aside. Perhaps it was for the best, though, because she didn't undergo as much experimentation as many of the other kids did.
Alexis came from a loving and happy family. She was the only daughter, so her mother doted on and spoiled her to no small degree. She had three brothers (two older and one her twin) who loved to tease and prank her, but their antics usually backfired as she always did something in return. Unfortunately, her happy world came crashing down when she was kidnapped at age 16.
Her memories of her family are everything to her, and she keeps them alive by repeating and recalling them in her head or writing them down when tools are available.

Also, I upped her age two years. I originally had her as 21, but changed it when I realized it was a high school, but now I'm changing it back because it seems the school isn't limited to only high-school aged people
