Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Dimitri grinned widely and said, "Tell that to a Russian Tiger. We're very stubborn, yet very determined at the same time. Besides, I always wanted a little sis. Besides, would you truly deny me my life long dream?" He did his best puss in boots impersonation.
"That's your lifelong dream?" Alexis asked incredulously. "Dude, you need to get out and live a little," she joked.

Laurel nodded slightly to Eric's words before noticing for the first time the shock stick that James readily held to hurt her with. Her whole body visibly tensed and thoughtlessly she took a few steps away from the man.

Aralyn was unable to move much with a handful of her hair held by Leverett. Realizing his satisfaction she immediately enclosed her free arm around his neck. She no longer cared about winning, only to kill the man who provoked her to so much anger.

"Easy, it was just a precaution after the last attack we sustained. James here is still a bit new." Eric was quick to explain.

Razeth growled deeply at the obvious tension that manifested in Laurel. He moved slowly to sit up to see its cause.

Leverett nuzzled Aralyn's neck and left velvet kisses in his wake. His hand relaxed it's hold and cupped her scalp almost tenderly. "Give me the oblivion only death can offer me. Mon Petit, end my suffering. I'm tired of this game of deception. I saw my death in your eyes upon our first meeting. Everything I've done from that moment, was to build to this one." He whispered softly in her ear.

Dimitri shrugged quietly and stated meekly, "To orphans, family's everything. If not by blood, then it's in the search for acceptance in strangers." He then busied himself with the books to hide his vulnerability.

Alexis became quiet, but only for a minute. She stepped closer to him, hesitant and unsure what to say that would be appropriate after dissing his dream. "Do you want a hug?" She finally asked, smiling sadly.

Dimitri glanced to Alexis briefly as she stepped closer to him. Upon hearing her words, he looked down humbly at the floor. "If I were to say, yes. Would you think less of me?" He murmured softly.

"On the contrary," Alexis replied cheerfully. "Everybody, with little to no exceptions, needs a good hug once in a while."

Laurel wasn't so sure, James seemed eager to inflict pain, rather than just defend himself. New was no excuse for this in Laurel's oppinion. She moved behind Eric with the hope that if James got any ideas Eric would stop him.

Aralyn screamed her fustration. "You are no different than.." She abruptly stopped, not wanting to continue. Pulling Leverett's arm further behind his back she was immediately rewarded by a loud popping sound.

"You misunderstood, I was offering Richard's help, not mine. But if you'd rather sulk with two numb arms, so be it." Ashton commented as she fished out her phone and ear buds.

Anuerin remained silent, not wanting to give Ashton the satisfaction of his compliance.
