Amaryllis stopped as she was lead out of the alley. She watched the cars pass by curiously. Their presence seemed so familiar and yet such a distant memory.

Eric understood her reluctance. But after the last time. It was now a requirement that other non-lethal means of containment were implemented. Shots worked slowly and required close contact. He positioned himself between the two. He didn't want a rookie mistake to ruin Laurel's cooperation. "How's you shoulder doing? " He asked conversationally.

James followed along nervously. He wasn't get his hand tore into like his predecessor. Ryker had had to do major reconstruction of bones and reattach tendons.

Leverett wailed in agony. He bit down on his anguish and hissed angrily, " You have no conscience! My death means nothing to you. That's why I chose you to do it." He looked away form Aralyn to hide his tears. The tears not from his agony, but from being denied what he wanted most. " But I've found your one weakness in all this. You're incapable of mercy for anyone but yourself." He replied as he tried to roll away from her.

Ashton smirked behind the screen of he phone as she scrolled her play list. "So what did you do to get Madison so angry at you?" She asked curiously. The Lioness hybrid was in fury mode and she wondered why.

"Okay, people are awake, let's go this way," Haley said as she turned around and went out the other side of the alley to a less used road.

Dimitri sighed softly at the friendship he'd developed with Alexis. For the first time he felt worthy of something beyond hate. "Either way, I'm grateful." He said, not wanting to squeeze her to tightly. Tigers didn't always know their own streagth.

"You are most welcome," Alexis smiled up at him. She then stepped back, gave him a pat on the shoulder, and pulled a book off the shelf. "Better?" She asked.
