Amaryllis tried so hard to not move that she began shaking against her will. Suddenly Amaryllis lungs became irritated by some unseen germ and she began to cough before she was able to stop herself.

Joey jumped in surprise, as well as let out a girl like scream. "My gosh! What the...?!"
Pete pointed at him as he burst into laughter at his friend's scream. "HA!! I told you you scream like a girl!" He taunted. "Cat got your tongue?" He asked when he was met by silence, then gave the redhead a jab in the ribcage.
Joey glared at him but didn't answer, instead going to investigate where the sound had come from. He squeezed back behind he dumpster but stopped, dumbfounded when he found the source of the noise: a young woman, curled up in the corner.

Haley heard a voice talking to the little one. They were near silent to anyone else but her sensitive ears picked up on the conversation immediately. They neared the window and she heard metal against metal: the window was being opened. She knew she had to get up and leave before the person looked out, but the pain. Her knees were stiff and her ankles felt like little daggers were being poked into them as she stood. She bit her lip and focused intently on the pain being caused there now as she willed herself to get up and back against the shadowed wall.

Dimitri grinned widely and indulged in the fantasy, "Is that right? And what would such horrid book be called sporting a "W" name? Wizard of Oz perhaps? No wait, that was the Tin Man that needed a heart and the Cowardly Lion courage." He replied teasingly.

(she was tapping where Ts would probably go )

"Wizard of Oz?" Alexis looked at him questioningly. "That's such a good book! You just can't appreciate decent children's fantasy," she accused playfully.

"Obviously our taste on decent children's fantasy is as vast as the Grand Canyon is wide." He said with heartfelt humor. He then glanced at the least letter they were on and amended his statement. "Ok, so it would have to be a T title. Let's see, The terrible teddy-bear hearted tiger? It has a ring to it. " He shrugged slightly and added, "Don't be fooled though, because I hear he's Great!"

Ashton pulled back a bit and frowned in thought before she asked, "Oh! I'm sorry, did you want some cheese with your whine? I think we have an old pack of parmesan around here somewhere."

I didn't give them the satisfaction of breaking me. I danced! " He said then smiled widely and started singing Roar to her.

Ashton sat back in her seat and shrugged nonchalantly. "Good thing I don't have plans to quit my day job then." She said matter-of-factly.
