"What do you think we'll be able to get?" She asked curiously. She looked to Donella and asked, "What's your go to snack food?"

Zaine followed the girls from a couple feet behind so he could hear their conversation but not necessarily have to take part in it.

Nova smiled and caught the keys, heading to get in the car to drive them both to the airport. "Makes sense, since I have to bring him back here to be watched over."

Donella shrugged and looked to Andorra then to Zaine before watching her feet again "I don't really have a favorite." Food was food to her, you either ate what you were given or you didn't eat at all.

Haley scuffed through the dirt with her shoe. It wouldn't cut the trail, obviously, but at least it would hide the path she had just sent her friend on. With Amaryllis going the most direct path towards the tree line, Haley set off on one much more indirect that would hopefully throw the men off, starting back down the alley they had just come from. Alone, she could go a lot faster and she made quick time around the block.

Amaryllis followed along a quiet, direct path. She was free to slow her pace, not having to keep up with Haley who was much healthier than her, with the promise that she would move faster once she regained some strength.

Zaiden sat down at the edge of the creek, put his feet to soak in the cool water.

Sophia did the same, lifting her left foot, splashing his legs a little. She returned to look at the water again, with a sheepish look on her face.

"Ooh! We'll have to see if we can make a foodie out of ya!" Andorra said after some thought. She glanced back to Zaine and frowned slightly, before looking back to Donella. "Me anytime cheesecake in my favorite food group. " She stated seriously.

"I used to look up to my father as you do," Anuerin calmly stated, glancing towards the distant Lord Laboratories, "I was blind, as you are, by a sweet talking gentlemen to acknowledge the deaths my father is guilty for."

Ashton poked Anuerin in the chest with her finger angrily as she said, "YOU are the problem here, not Ryker! You don't know half of what you think you do. You only want to see what you want to see and not see what you don't! And yes, some have died due to complications, but on the flip side, other who were on deaths door, Ryker managed to save. Life's a crap shoot Anuerin, there are no guarantees. I thought you'd know that by now."

Laurel couldn't help but continually smile at the man, they were so different, but that was why she liked him most.

Andorra threw back her head and sighed longingly, "It's as simple as, anytime there's cheesecake, it's my favorite food. I'm terrible about sharing that creamy, gooey, mummy dessert though. " She smiled as she looked to Donella. "But that was before I had real friends." She added truthfully.

Ryker nodded his approval as he unbuckled his seatbelt and look to her. "Very nice driving. I see you are excelling with your skills. I see a lot of potential in you Nova." He said before getting out. As he shut the door he said softly, "I hope you never betray me."
