Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Zaine glanced in the direction the group had left. "Uh, sure," he said. Watching her paint would surely be more enjoyable than sitting in his room doing schoolwork.
Ava smiled at him and stood, taking her trash to the can then grabbing her things. She paused and looked to him again "The other girl likes you, it was written all over her face. It is your choice where to go and what to do from this point."

Zaine stared hard at her, skeptical about what she said. "What are you, a mind reader?" He said jokingly, but it came out rather flat and rude he realized. While some may simply take Ava's words and whatever vibe Donella was giving off for what it was, he couldn't accept it that simply. And nor would he ever, probably, unless he heard it from her herself. He was just that way.

"Why the roof dear Amara. Donella found this unlocked door." Andorra replied helpfully.

Donella reached the door after a while, pushing on it lightly then smiling and slipping outside when it didn't resist. Good, it hadn't been found yet. Now they could be out in the sun and wind and incidentally high up

The roof could be nice, not a great place if you needed an escape route but it should be ok. When they stepped out onto the roof Amara took a deep breath of fresh air and sighed. It was nice to be outside even if it was on a roof. She followed the others to a spot to sit and began eating her food as she thought quietly to herself for a moment. "When did you find this spot?" She asked Donella curiously.

Donella looked over to her as she found a place to sit "Yesterday. I skipped classes all day. Most of the day I hid in my room, but I came out to try to find a place outside and found that door." She shrugged a little and looked down to her hands, reaching for her milk and something to eat from the tray Andorra had made for them.

Ava looked to him then shook her head "No, not a mind reader, but I can read expressions." Yeah, she could of gotten mad about the way he said that, but he was hurt too. With a shrug she headed for the art room.

Zaine didn't say anything but simply shouldered his backpack and followed. Expressions or no, he wasn't sure he wanted what Ava said to be true. Yes, he liked Donella, but that being reciprocated was a different story.

(OK then :) )
Amaryllis walked out, but held back when she noticed that Vasper hadn't followed. "You don't have come," she said gently, she wanted the support of his company, but was afraid that he thought he had been burdened with the responsibility of staying with her, "I know my way."
Vasper stepped from the elevator slowly. He glanced to the door as it shut behind him. He then frowned at her gentle tone. "I'm not a coward and I'm not afraid of him. I don't want to see him because..... I'll stay out in the hallway is that's fine with you." Vasper growled with grumpiness.

Ava went to the art room, going over to the paints to get some set up and her paper on the easel then started to add color to the sketch. She wasn't going to say anything else about the girl for now.

"Ah, but my dear tiger, you've missed one vital fact," Alexis said. "The first thing to snooping is not being noticed. Now with all of us disappearing at once, down the same hall, suspicions are sure to be raised."
Dimitri replied as he sat down beside Alexis. "My dear Alexis, what you've so easily overlooked was in don't mind getting in trouble. I'm a trouble maker. Didn't you mother warn you about boys like me?" He gave her a smirk. He then got his crème brûlée and held it up, " I even eat dessert first!" He added excitedly.
