Gideon gasped audibly at the suddenness of Nova's appearance. He looked up with wide eyes at her angry eyes. "Nova?" He squeaked out.

"Yeah, me. Now I left and calmed myself so explain yourself now!" Nova stated

Zaine shrugged as best one could lying down. "I don't know!" he said irritably. "I was paying attention to her drawings, not her face," he then added under his breath .

Alexis rolled her eyes. "Ya dingus!" She laughed. "For all the reading you do, you 'bout as ignorant as a bag of hammers in this case. She's jealous, can you not see??"

Dimitri chuckled and nodded, " Yes, and Mr. Oblivious here probably didn't help matters with his grumpy manner. I'd recommend doing something nice for Donella." He replied honestly with a smile.

Alexis tilted her head from side to side as she thought. In the few interactions she'd shared with Donella, she knew enough to know they were a wee bit different. So what would Donella like.

"She likes books and the reading of them. Did you not listen to her at all? But the good thing for you is you don't need to talk to read together. Just find a book she'd like and read it to her. What girl wouldn't enjoy that? " Dimitri replied thoughtfully.

Now that just sounded completely stupid, Zaine thought, and then voiced that thought in not so subtle sarcasm. "Oh, so just go find Donella and read any book to her?" He asked flatly.

Alexis snorted. "Well you've got to be a little more specific than that. You're a good listener, I should think. Figure out what kind of books she's into and take it from there." Chuckling, she then added, "You can go on a library date."
The glare Zaine shot her made her purse her lips and look down once more.

I....I....was convinced that I.....I.... could......I.....I don't know, maybe.....then.....I.....I could understand why it affected you so." He replied meekly. His eyes squeezed shut the whole time.

"Wise guy," Zaine muttered irritably. "Okay, okay, I get it. I should go talk to Donella and ask her if she'd like to go on an Information Journey." He scoffed at the name. Sitting up, he swung his long legs over the bed and stood to leave. "Well. Thanks, guys. It's been enlightening. I'll get back to y'all in a few months, a year at the most." He smiled at the the two in an almost pleasant way, for he really was grateful for their advice, but there was still a flicker of annoyance in his eyes.
