Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Areum nodded, replying with a blush "I'm sorry for sleeping here...I guess I was tired." With a smile she got up and headed for the door.

Elliot nodded at her comment, replying"Same here. You made my sleep seem perfect." He reached over to stroke her hair, noticing he had no shirt on from the night before.
Rowan smiled and shook his head "No reason to apologize. I liked having you here" He said then got up to head for the bathroom so he could get ready for the new day.

Zoa flushed and chuckled softly "Yeah, I slept better than normal too" She said happily then hugged him again.

Layla sat upright as she heard his voice, she hadn't expected him to actually wake up. She looked at him, all his wounds then glanced up to meet his eyes. Did she have the resolve now that he was awake that she did when he was asleep? "Yeah its me, I didn't want to leave." She replied lamely looking down at her hand where she still held his, god she just needed to spit it out and hope he was as forgiving as he seemed. "This is all my fault Leverett, if I hadn't freaked out like that you never would have fallen. Can you ever forgive me?" She asked her blue eyes meeting his, if she could have looked into his soul for the answer she would have. He was her only friend she needed to know that she still had that even if she felt all this guilt.

Eliana looked up from her oatmeal as there was a knock on the door. That was unexpected, even though she had no clock she had trained herself to a schedule. Her day was predictable, she knew where food came, when it left, when lights out was and when it was time to wake. This was out of her schedule, her nose twitched as she got off the bed, she recognized the scent. She knew who it was before he spoke and opened up the food slot to push in a few books. He had kept his word. A small smile twitched at the edge of her lips, he had kept his word. She moved over to the books and picked them up as she listened to his explanation for not getting her out now. "Thanks," she answered quietly as she cradled the books to her chest and walked back to the bed to sit down and look through what he had brought her. "Maybe try reading a medical journal, I here they are great at putting people to sleep." She said with a quiet chuckle and hoped he got some rest. She looked down then over the titles to see what she had to work with. The hounds of the baskervilles was on top, a classic plus a title by Agatha Christie not one she had read but she knew her other books so it was likely to be a good read, plus another she had never heard of.
Leverett was confused and shook his head as everything came back to him. " Non, cheri. It is not your fault and I owe you a thank you. You got me help and now I'm safe. I never did like heights in the first place. " He replied quietly as he met her gaze with sincerity within his own.

"My, did my ears deceive me or did you crack a joke? A slightly plagiarized joke, but a joke nonetheless." Alastor stated with genuine humor as he peeped through the slot at how she liked the books. "Alright, I'll see you later Eliana." He said with a soft smile. It was such a small thinging to make her so happy.

"So is it settled yet? You know, the you talk continuously and I enjoy the lovely sound of your voice." Dimitri replied contentedly.

Ashton looked to the barley visible sun and snorted, "Oh! HELP! That bright sun is scorching my eyeballs!" She said dramatically, then straightened and retorted, "Seriously?" Before smacking Allen in the arm as she walked past him to head back to the cavern.

Dyrus stepped out of the shower and toweled off. He'd slept hard for what little rest he'd been able to get after things had settled with Leverett's injuries. He walked to the closest all natural to too his wardrobe for the day. Yep! Jeans and t-shirt look downright comfy and made his choice easy enough. He thought of Haley as he got dressed. Maybe since they missed the sunset, they could watch the sunrise together. A quick stop for some hot to drink and some mugs would add to the moment greatly. But he didn't know what she liked other then water and energy bars. Hot Coco, he decided. That might work. Who didn't like Chocolate?...Well those who were allergic to it, he's supposed.alright, so he'd have to blow the surprise in order to not killing her with anaphylactic shock.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Alexis asked. "You want me to talk or not?"

Allen just smirked as she walked off. No, he did enjoy the sun as much as the moon, maybe even more, but he wasn't about to tell her that. "So we've covered that the sunrise is nice here, and that you have some decent furniture. What other surprises have you got?"

After a several minute long staring contest with the clock, just waiting for the alarm to go off, Haley finally tossed the covers back and climbed out of bed. The minute she did, of course the alarm finally went off and she slapped the flat of her hand lightly down on the button to shut it up. She gave a little sigh of satisfaction before going to her dresser to pull out some clothes, then headed to the bathroom to clean up.

Layla just looked at him, dumbfounded by his simple forgiveness. She shook her head and squeezed his hand probably a little too tight. "No you owe me nothing, I was not about to leave my only friend on a cliff-side. And we are never going near that bloody cliff ever again." She growled out the last bit, she was never letting him go near any heights again as long as she lived. She honestly didn't know if she could take seeing him fall like that again.

Eliana smirked at his comment on her joke, he was a likeable character and at least he seemed genuine in wanting to help her. She looked down at her books eager to dive in but unsure which to start with. She settled on a classic and picked up the hounds of the baskervilles and settle against her pillow as she opened it up. She didn't even hear him leave already engrossed in the tale, in some far off place that only the pages could take her too.

Vasper keen sense of smell picked up on Amaryllis's scent immediately. He slipped from the bed inow a worried rush and flung the door wide. "What's wrong?" He inquired hurriedly as he looked around the hallway for clues.

"I think it's way past our bedtimes. So, if your good, I'll read this most awesome story to you later. And I may be a bit biased." Razeth said with friendly humor.
Amaryllis jumped backwards in surprise as Vasper rushed out of his room. "Nothing," she quickly assured, "I came to see if you would have breakfast with me."

"Sounds good to me." Laurel decided with a final yawn. "Can we take the books back to our room?"

Donella mewed and purred more, her cat did like the attention, at least for now.

Andorra remembering Donella hadn't eaten yet, reaching over to pick a morsel of food to offer her. "Here ya go kiddo. " She said as she held it out to her friend.
Lucy leaned back against her pillow as she watched the two. It certainly made an interesting scene if Donella hadn't been in animal form.

" It means continue talking, what else would it mean?" Dimitri asked with humor. He then shoulder bumped her lightly.

"Oh? You sound as if that's not enough. My, my what will it take to empress the great Allen?" Ashton stated with a dramatic sigh. "So jaded you are, young lion." She added in her best Yoda voice.

Dyrus walked to Haley's door with purpose in his steps. He was almost surprised by how much he was looking forward to seeing her again. As he raised his hand to knock, his eyes caught sight of a single black rose laid before Haley's door. He frowned and bent to pick it up to examine it closely. What did this mean and who was the giver? He thought to himself.
