Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"I can't say I recognize you, either, Samantha said, giving him a thin smile. She chuckled softly. "You can call me Sam, same as everyone else. Are you recently come up from the cells?" She looked to him questioningly. That's what his scent suggested, but there was nothing oddly animal about him.

Liam smiled at her and walked over to lean against the wall next to her while they talked. "Good to meet you Sam. And I work downstairs mostly, helping keep people in line, and running errands like this for Ryker. Plus I trained as a nurse as well so I can help out when people need patched up." He replied with a smile, then he realized she must think he was one of the experiments like she was. He decided not to tell her, she could probably figure it out based off of his answer.

Aquene nodded a greeting, still enchanted. She replied "I'm Aquene, nice to meet you too." She added with a cheerful smile "You're really cute." She suddenly realized that her words could be taken for both of his forms, and while that wasn't necessarily a lie, she didn't want to start anything she shouldnt.

Elijah smiled warmly at her, she had a very unique name that was for sure. Probably take him forever to get it right but that was ok. "Thanks, most people don't find tall bearded men 'cute', I tend to lean more towards ruggedly handsome then cute, but I will take it. Just kidding I agree I was modeled after the most frigging adorable creature in the world and I have no idea why." He said with a laugh thinking about it all.

Leah smiled at his last remark, and replied "Yes, I was abducted and sold into the traficking business. It has made me more nervous, scared, and less trustworthy, especially of men." She sighed, before smiling upwards once again, assuring "But you're just nice. At least I think so."

William looked down at Leah in surprise, he was surprised she felt comfortable enough to just spill her past like that to him. It made since though given her past how she was so nervous. He would have to make a mental note to try and tone it down a bit around her in the future. "I am sorry that is a horrible life to live, at least your here now. And thank you I like to think I am pretty nice myself, but then again I am a little biased." He replied with a grin and a wink. He then noticed as the wind blew her hair a little bit that she had ears, like honest to goodness animals ears. "Hey are those animals ears I see under there, that is pretty neat you shouldn't hide them." He replied restraining himself from the desire to reach out and brush her hair out of the way so he could see them better.

The tap tapping of her heels echoed through the empty room as Emily stood to go, taking her empty coffee cup and a stapled stack of papers with her. They needed a signature and she needed to go eat something.
Elbowing the door handle open, she pressed her back against the door and opened it, then set off at a brisk pace for Ioan's office. She didn't encounter anyone on her way, for which she was slightly relieved. All the students were either still in the cafeteria or in their first class of the day.
She had only arrived at the school late last night, her flight having been delayed by stormy weather, but she was here and happy to be. The relief she'd felt when she received this job offer was enormous. Life at her old place was becoming unbearable, full of disappointing memories and only the sound of herself to fill the apartment, and moving away was the very best thing that she could have done. Here, it certainly wouldn't be quiet or lonely.
She knocked lightly on Ioan's office door then stepped back to glance down the hall curiously. Perhaps she could find a student willing to give her a tour of the place later.

Atalanta shook her head as she followed after in a slow pace. Sand stuck to her legs, to her dismay, as she left the water.
Priam came into sight then. "Are you tired, yet?" He called out, chuckling lightly.
"Yes, tired, wet, and hungry," she said dismally. He wrapped his arm around her soaked shoulders, pulling her close as they headed inland together.
"There's a cure for that. But, let's find Iris first so she's not left out here, thinking we're still playing."
Atalanta nodded her head in agreement and pointed in the direction the girl had gone.

"What?" Lucy asked, pretending ignorance. She sipped her milk and looked to him with big, wide eyes.

Samantha eyed him curiously for just a moment. Staring made people uncomfortable, which was really a pity because it was a favored activity. "So you're Ryker's little errand boy?" She asked jokingly. She sniffed slightly the air around them. Purely human, besides her own scent.

(Oh garsh we getting long   )

Alexis beamed up at him before letting the door close behind them. "You're very welcome, Dimitri dear," she replied.

( XD I've been waiting for a little lioness action)

Allen glanced over his shoulder as he turned the corner. Geez, this place didn't end, did it. He finally got smart and started counting doors and noting where he was for future reference. Ashton may have the advantage of knowing the layout, but he had a slight gain in speed—well, a teeny bit. She was, he had noticed earlier, short enough to make his own rather short height look a bit grander.

Haley read the descriptions of the items he had named. "French toast sounds absolutely amazing," she mused. She read a couple more items out of curiosity, but had decided the toast was what she wanted.

"Isn't he a bucket of sunshine," Ares stated with a pleasant smile. He pulled his glass towards him for a large swallow before asking, "So, you enjoying the place?"
(What do you mean by that? We getting long? :hmm )
Dimitri smiled at the endearment. He kinda liked that she'd used it with him.

( )
Madison closed in on Allen and asked pointedly "What are you doing up here?"

Ashton caught the scent of Madison and Allen. Oh no, this isn't going to be good. Dang it all to hades! She thought as he hurried to catch up with her friend.

"Definitely, with some bacon, pretty perfect. " Dyrus said as he still perused the menu.

Roan nodded agreement to his assessment of Indigo. He then thought about his answer, "I suppose, It's definitely different from the labs. What about yourself? You seen to have the ladies attention. " He said with a chuckle. As the giggles and glancing Ares way was becoming more obvious.

(Our posts :p )

"Stairs are that way?" Alexis asked, nodding in the direction in question. No, she hadn't been paying attention yesterday.

Allen spun around to see who had spoken. "Gosh you startled me," he muttered—then straightened and put his best smile on. She wouldn't know he had no right to be up here, right? "Walking," he then added. He tightened his grip on the bag that he still held. Walking down the upstairs halls with a bag of cheese sticks in hand, duh. Oh gosh, where was Ashton. "What are you doing up here?" He countered, attempting to turn the light off himself.

Haley set her menu to the side and folded her hands in her lap as she looked around. This certainly made a nice change to the busy and noisy breakfasts at the mansion.

Ares shrugged lightly, as if the females looking his way didn't mean a thing. Actually, he reveled in the attention. It wasn't high school but it was the best one could get around here. "Yeah, it's nice. It's just a pity we're not allowed out."

"Ooh, secret rooms" Nova said then chuckled and came closer, peering into the revealed space before tucking her wings close and going in. Once in, she would move enough to not be in his way then look around curiously.

Anuerin waited until Nova moved aside before using his arms to lower himself into the room and reach over his head to close the enteance. Once the natural light was shut out the automatic light system engaged to illuminate the room. It was a small room, half the size of an average bedroom, which allowed only a small space to walk around. There was a desk tucked into the rooms back corner, with papers scattered across it as well as various pencils and mechanical objects lined against the back. So many drawings hung from the walls that most overlapped the other to make room for newest sketches. Anuerin had always struggled to share his emotions and thoughts, but those things were impossible to keep inside. Drawing was a way to express himself. The black charcoal seemed to work best in transforming memories from his life onto paper. He didn't draw things from imagination, instead the sketches seemed to be retelling scenes from his life as they hung from every wall. "I'm not too good at talking, so I thought I'd show you instead." Anuerin admitted quietly, now appearing a little nervous to be sharing his world with someone else. He wondered what she thought.
(This post is pretty long, but in the next one I'll describe his drawings more ;) )

"Raspberry vinagrette." Amaryllis answered at a break between bites.

"That is not true." Laurel stated in a firm yet gentle manner.
Vasper nodded and stated pleasantly, "I'm a basic Italian dressing guy myself. " He then nibbled on a few bites of his omelet.

Razeth felt good at her compliment. "Then thank you." He said with appreciation.
