Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Oh I love bloated bodies," Alexis joked, sarcastically clapping slowly. She started down the stairs, peering carefully over the edge of her tray to watch her footing.
Dimitri then caught up with Alexis as they reached the bottom. Pretending not to notice the sarcasm. " Oh, what a coincidence! Because I just so happened to love buzzards. They're fascinating birds. But on a side note, I think you have a wonderful voice and you could bring new life to history if you ever became a teacher." He said honestly

"A wise decision. Not that I'd ever do that to you, but as a rule you should never trust some who says, "Trust me" They're very predictable in their deceptions. " Ashton rambled aimlessly.

Dyrus sighed and looked out the picture window at the early morning town waking up. There was so many obstacles between Haley and himself. Not to mention the ramifications if he breached them. He'd be back in a cell in time. Why did everything have to be so complicated? He thought to himself. When the food arrived, he was glad for the distraction.

Roan frowned at the theatrics. What was that about? He wondered momentarily. "Umm, bye Ares. Nice meeting you. See you around maybe. " He said in parting. He moved to get his tray and book bag. "And nice meeting you too Emily. I.....I just wish I could have kept my juice to myself. I'm going to go find a hole and crawl in it. Bye!" He said as he took his tray to the trash can to empty it. He'd lost his appetite.
"Same as with people who claim to be smart," Allen said, frowning sligtly. "Chances are, they're only dingbats. Or people who claim they can sing. Plug your ears and run." He chuckled lightly.

Haley unrolled her silverware and set it neatly to the side of her plate. "This looks amazing," she said, inhaling the aroma.

Ares sauntered off, swinging his backpack up over his shoulder as he went and shooting glances at the females that looked his way.

Emily inclined her head towards him. "It was very nice meeting you, too," she said, with a gentle smile. "But please, there's no need to go hide yourself. It was a simple accident that's not worth you missing classes for."

Dimitri then caught up with Alexis as they reached the bottom. Pretending not to notice the sarcasm. " Oh, what a coincidence! Because I just so happened to love buzzards. They're fascinating birds. But on a side note, I think you have a wonderful voice and you could bring new life to history if you ever became a teacher." He said honestly.
Alexis stuck her tongue out in disgust. "Blah, I'll leave history to the oldies. It was never my forte, anyway. But thanks for the compliment dear." She glanced over her shoulder to give him a toothy smile.

"I am down for absolutely anything, legal or not," Atalanta joked. She excused Priam's disapproving look and bit into a slice of toast.
Iris replied back with a smirk "Not legal? That sounds fun." She did it mainly to tick Priam off a little bit.

Samantha took that as a challenge and made a mental note for later. 'I told you so' was always a fun one to spout. She centered herself on a mat and, taking hold of the handles on the band, stepped on the middle and pulled it up carefully. "Not many can handle this job, you know," she said once she was settled. "So that's saying something."

Liam snapped back to the current conversation when she spoke and glanced over to her from his bench. "Well I suppose yes, thank you for that. " He said with a nod, lost in his own thoughts. He looked at her as she started her exercises. "Do you think Ryker would let me get a cat?" He asked curiously, he knew she would probably not have an answer to that he was more just bouncing the idea off her. He liked cats, he had one for a time before coming here and he missed the companionship they offered. He had thought about getting one for sometime but was unsure how to approached the subject with his boss.

Leah giggled at his antics once again, taking the food and eating it politely. She drank some water from the bottle and set it down again, to take another another bite of the meat and cheese. She looked up to him, before thanking "Thank you so much. This is perfect."

"Well i don't know about perfect but I am glad you think so. Pilfering goods from the kitchen is simple enough and I do it often. I think I have a nice stash of said goods in my room already. And its always nice to spend some time with others. This place can get boring at times, especially when your alone all the time." He added the last part more for her then for him. He found her fascinating, she was a complex mix of nervous and caring and he wanted to figure her out. Push her comfort zone a bit and see what she was really made of.

Willow looked to Adrian and smiled knowingly. "Wow, that's surprisingly a lot of information on Luchador wrestlers. Care to explain how you know it sugar?" She purred enticingly as they walked.
Now he had done it, well she would keep asking until he gave her something. And he was just going to roll with it, no sense hiding his awesomeness any longer. He jumped out in front of her hands on his hips and deepen his voice and his accent until he sounded like an announcer. "You offend my lady, how could you never have heard of me. Why I am the Avenging Destroyer! Undefeated champion of my families home Lucha Libre wrestling matches!" He puffed out his chest but broke in to laughter about how ridiculous it probably all sounded. "Me and my siblings made our own masks and picked names, we would pretend we were in a prestigious Lucha Libre ring but in reality we wrestled each other for our audience of two, our parents. It was was good fun, my mask had flames on it and was all black, my signature move was a body slam." He said with a grin waiting for her reaction.

Aquene nodded, a bit more undecided than he was. She responded "I enjoy company...if they're not annoying and boring. You're not either, so people like you are cool. Monotone people...can't stand them. The ones that just talk and don't listen, don't talk about meaningful stuff ever, that stuff."
Elijah gave her a smile, "Well thank you I like to think I am not boring but its always nice to have confirmation." He said with a smirk as they walked towards the rooms. "So what class you skipping? I am going to be missing out on physics, but if I am honest with myself that is because the class is beyond boring. I already no enough physics to be able to pass the class with my eyes closed so going everyday seems moot." He added with a smile wondering which she was missing.

Irine heard someone coming down the hallway and moved to the slot on the door to look out.
Harper noticed the door up ahead had the slot open so she paused at it before moving on. She opened the upper viewing window in the door so that neither of them would have to crouch down to speak. "Hello Irine, I hope your day is going well so far?" Harper said kindly wondering what she wanted.

Iris replied back with a smirk "Not legal? That sounds fun." She did it mainly to tick Priam off a little bit.

"And the more illegal, the more fun," Atalanta added. Joking, of course. She certainly liked to push boundaries but she rarely went over.
