Amaryllis smiled warmly to Gideon a final time before moving to the door. She decided to follow the hall towards the direction of the lab. Ryker did spend most of his time there, but if it was empty, she figured she would go check his office again.

"Me? Attack? Wait....did Adrian tell you this. For the record, that horse attack me. He punched me right in my face and as a testament to my control, he left here without a scratch on his dumb self. If I didn't disembowel my roommate for such a slight? Then why would I attack this Dimitri, was it? A random stranger I do not even know? When was this supposed attack to of happened?" Indigo asked more then a little affronted.

Ryker stepped back and sighed with worry. It wasn't looking good. He'd give it about 15 more minutes, then he would have to take the hand. Frostbite killed flash just as fast as no blood. "Thank you all. Rest up. We may need to prepare the OR, if there's no improvement in 15. " He said as bit defeated. Someday's he just couldn't win for losing.

"'Fought back more'? Just how much did you fight?" Zoe asked quickly "Did you get knocked out when you were taken? Did you fight until you couldn't?"

Elliot looked down at himself, muttering “Who knows.” He looked at his knuckles, as if he knew the claws that would spring from them would draw blood.

Leah responded more calmly again “Sorry. I was acting a bit weird, that’s all. Sorry, back to normal again.” She smiled and kept walking with him to the beach, asking “What beach games do you like?”

William nodded at her words, but he could tell things were not really back to normal. But he decided not to touch the subject for now, he needed to sort out his own thoughts on the matter first. "Beach games? I don't know that I have ever really played any beach games, I usually just swim, enjoy the sun, usual things. do you spend a lot of time at the beach, or is this your first time?" He asked curiously trying to get to know her better.

With Harper's help, the three of them function like a well-oiled machine. Ryker greatly appreciated the efficiency of his team when they were fighting the clock.

Harper sighed, she didn't like hearing that, but knew it was the truth. Sometimes you tried your best and still failed, such was life. She busied herself cleaning up some of the mess, swapping out the ice and cleaning up what could be cleaned. She also got to work setting out some of the things they might need if they had to take the hand, just in case so they would be ready. It helped her to be busy, unfortunately she couldn't shut her mind down completely and hers raced with what ifs. If she had been paying better attention, instead of taking notes could she have prevented this? She would never know and it would haunt her if they had to take this poor girls hand.

"Now I never said I left the head behind, did I?" Vasper asked with a slight grin. He moved to operate the machine and motioned forward Layla to step back and bit more. "In fact, we sent a head to Ioan. I wish I could have seen his face when he opened it. The dude probably needed a diaper." He said with humor.

Layla chuckled as she stepped back and wiped her hands off on her pants. "That would have been interesting, to see how he reacted, it is not everyday you get a head in the mail." She said with a grin his way as the trash compactor rumbled to life as it worked. "Thank you for helping me get rid of the evidence. Ryker has been getting on my case about my attitude lately and you likely saved me from some cell time with this." She said sobering slightly and giving him a grateful look.

"Aren't you a rule breaker. Just another reason I think you're sexy." Willow purred as she opened a drawer and held up two spoons. "I got you covered babe. " She said with a smile.

Adrian grinned as he finished wiping up the counter and then moved to the freezer to get some ice cream. He found the vanilla and some hot fudge sauce and pulled them out. He warmed the sauce up as she scooped the ice cream into bowls. He then drizzled the sauce over the ice cream, put some whip cream on top and put a few cherries on top for good measure. He put the stuff away and turned back to her. "too much or not enough? I realized I should have asked how you like your sundaes before I made it." He asked with a grin as he took one of the spoons she had gotten out of the drawer.
