First it was the African Swine Fever that took out 25% of their pork supply, then some kind of bird flu that hit their poultry industry, then the government's overreaction to the Wuhan flu which has ground their economy to a halt, now this - a locust plague.

Was Stuck at Checkout, super long line, Wal-Mart.
So After I coughed I said..."this cough is getting worse since I got back from China" ...boom, no line

I don't think the Chinese government has overreacted to the coronavirus. Wear a mask if you're not sick and stay home if you are but not at deaths door seems reasonable to me.

You know what's crazy. You can't find any medical face masks. All our local stores -- CVS, Target, etc., are sold out. I went on Amazon and the prices are CRAZY. A box of 10 was $60+. Normally about $8.00. I'm flying to Australia in a couple weeks and wanted a couple on hand for the plane, layovers, etc.

Try getting one of the masks for yard work at Home Depot or Lowe's. Also, you could ask your local doctor's office or hospital. They usually have tons.

They're locking everyone indoors, not just the sick.

Only the N95 masks work. The others might be helpful to keep you from sneezing on someone, but they don't keep out viruses.

They're locking everyone indoors, not just the sick.

If they are told to stay home, they need to do it. This is a serious situation that spread quickly. I believe there are times to defy authorities when what they're doing is wrong, but this isn't one of them.
