Well, I set mine late, but they have been set TODAY. I still have four eggs I couldn't fit into the Octagon, so I'll set up one of the MiniAdvanceEX units to incubate those. But I'll get to those tomorrow evening. The bulk of the CNY Hatch is: 7 bantam Frizzled Cochins, and 18 "assorted" LF colorful eggs from Meaghan/Muggsmaggee.

I would like to work on the Week #3 Contest. Somebody already started a thread for Mommies & Babies photos, but I'm STILL gonna use that idea. Still thinking on what to offer as a prize; sorry I'm not ready yet, but I didn't get ready for the Week #3 contest for Mahonri's NY Hatch til the second week.

Got my eggs this morning and they went into the incubator around 10:30 tonight. Can't wait till the 3rd!!!!!!!!!! I need more baby chicks, I swear 25 is not enough! Those full grown chickens are "egging" me on, they say we need more friends! I think I am over the 50 mark for chickens now! AHHHHHHHHHHHH, STOP ME!

Candled quickly and as expected can't see anything yet in my CNY eggs but my other eggies on day 8 have babies moving in them

I only set a few.....some bantam eggs of unknown origin. lol I think the D'Uccles are laying.....I'm getting wayyy too many eggs to just be the silkies. Unless the 3 youngest are all girls

My luck just doesn't go that way! So I set a few of those, a few blue (future olive egger) eggs and 1 green egg from a hen that is always fertile, but her eggs never develop.

Maybe something kicked in over winter and they are magically going to hatch now.

Wolfie do you want me to make a spreed sheet on who set what and when and so on and so forth? I use to be a cleric in the Army so i'm good at it

I'll even put in location and anything else anyone suggest i should put it... i can try to post it to my BYC page so everyone can see it or i can email it out or whatever i dont mind

I like that kinda stuff
