Chinese New Year Hatch/February 3 2011

Uhhh, we're already IN for a coordinated Hatch, set tomorrow around noon-ish, to hatch on Feb. 3. Hence the subject title!

Mine will have to be set in the morning before I leave for work.

Mine will be set on like Saturday or maybe even sunday, since they're Button eggs. Also it depends on when they actually get shipped out. No word on that yet, so

and we'll see. The suspense is driving me bonkers!

its already the 13th for me & my cochin eggs should be here today. i have 10 of my own eggs to put in from the black & splash orpy hens over SLW roo. ( am only incubating the black orpy's as we lost her yesterday. she died tryna lay an egg )

Day 1: set eggs and cross fingers

for days 3 and 8.

Day 3: some will candle eggs and toss out the bad ones.

Day 8: candle again. Toss out the clear eggs

and stinkers.

Day 18: Candle once more and toss the bad ones . the good eggs go into lockdown.

and we wait patiently

until day 21.

Day 20: Some early chicks

may hatch and others will begin to peep inside the shell.

Day 21: Chicks will start pipping

and we will be running frantically from the computer

to the incubator

and posting like crazy. Chicks will start zipping

and we will run frantically back and forth.

. Chicks will start hatching

and we will all be super excited.

Thet timeline seems a bit as usual. Should i add anything?
