Chinese painted/button egg production

Hello, I was wondering how many eggs do Chinese painted/Button quail lay a year? are the eggs edible?

most lay one egg per day depending on the seasons and food and lighting.
they are good to eat but very small. if it is eggs for eating you are looking for then go with cortnix or other larger quail.
