Chiped beak

I have a 7week old golden comet hen that has a chiped beak that was bleeding. This looks minor compared to the other ones I've seen here but I haven't found anything like this one. Is there anything I can do? I plan on spraying it with vetricin one more time an putting some nealsporn on there. Shes also having a hard time eating. She is trying to but failing. I've read something about a cooked egg or yogurt or wet starter. Other chickens in my flock have chiped beaks too but they never bleed. Any help is appreciated.

Not much you can do. It'll grow back. If she's housed in something that has a hard floor or ground that she is pecking on, you want to move her to something softer. Make sure her feed isn't too difficult for her to eat. That IS painful for her, but not much else you can do for now that I'm aware of.

Do you have her inside some chicken wire or hardware cloth fencing that she may be injuring her beak on? It is a painful injury, but in time the beak should grow back. Mushy wet chicken feed might be more appealing, and you can try to feed her some out of your hand. Some links I have read have suggested using an empty tea bag, and cutting a patch to fit, and applying it with Superglue to over the injury. It sounds very tedious and messy, since I can never use pr Superglue without getting it everywhere, but worth a try if her beak gets worse. Since you have multiple beaks getting damaged, I would try to look for a cause, and fix that.

As of now they are only in the coup because we cant let the free range safety yet because of hawks. We have .25 inch wire as windows. An I dont think it's that. I'm thinking it might be a vitamin D deficiency but cant be sure.

For food there either getting purina grower dumor grower or purina flock raiser depending on what they have at the feed store because feed is in high demand. They also tend to avoid the wire. I gave here some eggs and she ate them and then I gave the rest of the eggs to the rest of the chickens.
