Hello from Eastern KY! My husband and I purchased our first flock of soon to be laying hens. We have 18, two of which are Americaunas. They are grey/silver with a black/brown stripe going down their backs. Any idea of how they will look once they grow? Also, what color eggs will they lay? Does each Americauna lay it's on color of egg of does it lay multiple colors? TIA

A hen will continue to lay the same color egg for her lifetime., though pullet eggs start out small and sometimes blemished. You might want to post at "what breed or gender is this,"

for information on what your two will look like mature. They would need to see the current photos of them. Many breeds start out chip monk marked.
