That looks like Angel Wing, or at least that's what my duck looked like with Angel Wing.

Since i've never had to deal with angel wing I would wrap and put her with them and see how they react. course Chips will be reacting to being bandaged too. I am guessing girl just based on it's face looks girlie to me, is is making any sounds to give you any idea?Miss Lydia...
I do so hope that Chips will be a female - well, my agenda tomorrow is to wrap Chips up - that will be challenging! I understand that I should leave the bandage on for 7 days - do I need to keep Chips isolated from the others? Chips has only recently joined the main flock of ducks and I would prefer to leave her? with them if possible....
Thanks
Suzie

Yippee for Chips being female, and I sure wish we'd caught all of this on video.Update on Chips.....
Miss Lydia.....
You are magic! I now think that Chips is a female - it makes a soft trilling noise - wonderful as I want girls![]()
What you all omitted to tell me was just how difficult it would be to wrap the wing - it is easy to catch and hold Chips as it loves attention... however, after wrapping the wing ( securely - I think NOT ) Chips was off across the field showing off it's new attire.... it must have lasted the best part of one minute before the wrap was flung aside much to the amusement of all at the cabaret act of Chips! Now I will explain ( in my defence ) that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my right hand is not as efficient as it used to be - so maybe that was why the first attempt failed...... OK - stage two - my inferior half ( Phil ) admonished me and he proceeded to re-wrap the offending wing in his perfect manner - ha! Well that did not last as long as my disabled effort!!!!![]()
Final stage - well for today at least - micropore tape..... Chips was wrapped in micropore tape around the body twice, leaving the right wing free to move - it is holding the left one rigid so far and Chips is looking confident and happy - for now!![]()
Any further suggestions of how to keep the wing secured would be gratefully received by Chips
