My rooster is a porcelain d'uccle! So much personality in a little package

I just LOVE my d'uccles! They’re the sweetest little things- and damn can they fly! My porcelain is named Marble and my Millie Fleur is Puppet (in honor of her size lol)

I was about to message Jade just in case. I hope they’re doing okay. Emma said human was around about a year ago and checked in. I’m sending her a PM to in case she ever hops on.

We still chat! Actually talked to her today. I’ve got her phone number and we’ve DM’d some.

Awww I remember all of your birds. That's awesome to hear they're still kicking.

Lost my Bubbles quite recently. It was very sudden but she’d been going downhill without apparent cause for a while. I sort of knew it was coming. Aside from her, everyone else I had before I left is doing great. Joy (going on eight years old!), Jokgu (seven), Indigo and Opal (both four I believe) as well as the ducks Daffodil, Poppyseed and Pearl (they are three).

I added to the flock in the spring and got my first bantams. I ended up losing two chicks from the first shipment so I ordered another four who are just a week younger. Mentioned them already, but I have my d’uccles Marble and Puppet, as well as a Frizzle EE named Sesame from that first shipment. I lost both of the Marans I had ordered (splash and copper), so the second shipment replaced those breeds. Spinner is my Copper Marans and Cherub is my splash. I also got a Sumatra, Beetle, and a Blue orpington, Polar, as insurance birds in case I lost any more. Luckily everyone grew up healthy and happy and they’re some of the friendliest birds I’ve ever raised. Cherub likes to get lap cuddles and Beetle is always on my shoulder if she can be lol.
